The Wholistic Wellness Network (WWN) is a national non-profit organization that exists to integrate complementary, alternative, and conventional medicine at both the community and the institutional levels.

  • Our Function is to improve wellness within the community through outreach, research, and education.
  • Our Goal is that each participating community be known as the healthiest in the nation modeling an integrated wellness delivery system.
The three Knoxville-area WWN chapters serve nine East Tennessee counties and host fun and informational meetings each month around the area.

Chapter History:

About five years ago four complimentary healers decided to hold monthly meetings to bring together practitioners or those interested in learning about holistic and natural healing modalities.  Under the Directorship of Joy Petrak the group grew to over 200 members holding monthly meetings in 5 different counties and a yearly health fair in Knoxville.

In May of 2002 the board of that group, Complimentary and Alternative Health Society, voted to join WWN in order to join with others on a national scale.   We continue to hold approximately 3 meetings per month in different counties around Knoxville, a yearly health fair, special events, a local newsletter and a practitioners directory.

Chapter CoDirectors meet regularly to share information and organize larger scale events.
